Maciej Madziński

Professionally, he is the COO at Laurens Coster, a Polish company specializing in advanced data analytics and generative AI. A passionate advocate of strategic management (particularly strategy building and execution) and agile project management, he has been involved in large, complex digital transformations of companies, from creating digital transformation strategies to effective system implementation and change management within the organization. He also managed the Project Office at Kozminski University and was responsible for the university's project portfolio, managing key strategic initiatives with his team.

In 2020, he earned a PhD with distinction in management and quality sciences, defending a dissertation titled "Project Management in Teal Organizations." The dissertation focuses on self-organizing enterprises, particularly in project management. His current research interests in self-organizing companies also extend to "Positive Leadership," rooted in "Positive Psychology."

This experience spans both Polish and international organizations in IT, outsourcing, FMCG, and banking sectors.

He gained his professional experience in managerial roles and as a change agent during, among other things, mergers and company restructurings. Capgemini, Carlsberg, Bahlsen, BNP Paribas, ZPC Bałtyk, and Grupa Kapitałowa Otmuchów are selected companies he has collaborated with. Łukasz Jędraszkiewicz

He began his career at the Swedish corporation Sandvik, a global manufacturer of mining machinery. He collaborated with suppliers from EU countries, North America, as well as Australia and New Zealand. In the global team, he implemented new distribution channels, while locally, he managed the purchasing and logistics department, overseeing the storage and distribution of parts for mines under an SLA agreement with a 4-hour response time. As the Head of the Purchasing Department, he negotiated contracts with key suppliers and managed a team of over a dozen people spread across three locations in Poland and the Czech Republic.

Since 2013, he has served as the Deputy Director of the Central Purchasing Office at Track Tec, a manufacturer of railway prestressed concrete sleepers and railway and tramway turnouts. He managed a team of 30 people across four locations in Poland and two locations in Germany. He was responsible for negotiating the company’s largest contracts with key suppliers and actively implemented new global suppliers into PKP’s procedures and requirements.

Since 2016, he has held the position of Purchasing Director at a leading district heating company. He currently manages a team of 40 people across multiple locations, overseeing an average of 3,000 tenders annually. He introduced a new purchasing approach within the company and built a dedicated team of experts in Public Procurement Law, capable of efficiently adapting to changing market needs and quickly responding to the needs of internal partners.

Since 2022, he has been co-creating a podcast and YouTube channel, #OkiemKupca, focused on professional purchasing topics.

Jacek Jarmuszczak

He began his professional career as a buyer in the FMCG sector at Polish companies (Anpak, Kilargo), where he negotiated purchasing contracts with suppliers from around the world, utilizing innovative bidding platforms that were advanced for their time (2004-2007). Later, at a global corporation, a leader in its sector—Philips Lighting—as a Strategic Buyer, he developed purchasing strategies for Europe and managed relationships with key suppliers and business units.

From 2010 to 2011, he served as Regional Procurement Project Manager for the APAC region, based in India (Chandigarh and Mumbai). He worked on a supplier base development project related to the migration of production from Europe to LCC (India and China) following the global financial crisis of 2008-2009 (GFC).

Subsequently, he held the position of Head of Electronic Purchasing at Carlsberg Group, where his team conducted an average of 600 tenders annually, both direct and indirect, for all Carlsberg plants worldwide. He is an expert in category management, tendering, including the use of electronic auctions, global business relationship management, and supplier base management. He has practical experience in implementing and improving electronic tools that support the procurement area (approval flows, purchasing process, supplier evaluation, contract management, internal requisition management, electronic auctions, etc.).

Later, in the central structures of global corporations—Carlsberg Group followed by Danfoss AS—he strategically managed purchasing categories, co-created procurement organizations, and defined and achieved purchasing goals aligned with company objectives. From 2019 to 2022, he served as VP Procurement Technology Development at NextBuy.

His long-term contracts in Western Europe, the USA, Asia, and his work within the central structures of global corporations have provided him with extensive experience in managing cross-cultural business. Throughout his over 20-year career, he has negotiated contracts worth over 3.5 billion EUR in total. He currently runs his own training and consulting business.

Agnieszka is a manager with over 20 years of experience working in international manufacturing companies and Consulting. Since the beginning of her career she is engaged in procurement and sales topics. With curiosity and open mind she was gaining experience in various procurement roles, from Sourcing Specialist to Procurement Business Partner. Having an ability to connect dots she was using the knowledge from one area/category in another to achieve targets and develop suppliers. This has built the trust of the procurement teams she was leading and changing the perception of the procurement departments.

Last 4 years she is supporting multinational and domestic companies with optimizations of their Procurement processes and Departments within OptiBuy – a WNS company. Having focus on goals, but making the teams growth as the foundation for achieving them, she has managed to build the team of internal consultants and develop Client’s teams. Currently, she is the president of the Advertising Producers Association (SPR) and a board member of the European Federation of Commercial Film Producers (CFPE). The projects she has produced have won all the major industry awards, including Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Golden Drum, KTR, and Kreatury.
